Titles
As many Black Belts find it is a rare honour to have a title bestowed on them.  How ever through their long years of training and personal ability the title of Sifu was bestowed upon :-

Brent Ivil (Auckland)
Alistair Simmons (Nelson)

The presentations were make at a special function attended by existing title holders.

Taupo Seminar

The Taupo Seminar went off as planned and would be rated one of the best held. Focus on the National Tournament and 12th Annual Instructor Seminar did not over shadow the numerous workshops and courses held. David Thompson and John Goldsmith received the high honour and promotion to 7th Degree Black Belt. They join a small elite group of high ranking Black Belts in New Zealand. The school now looks forward to the mid winter event which will focus on Internal Martial Arts. Kempo and Tai Chi students within SCF benefit by close study and practice of Bagua and H'singi boxing methods through the Grand Master's extensive lineage in China.
