Purpose built for martial arts
Firstly it is purpose built for martial arts to house all the training aids, equipment and technology and to provide a unique environment for students. The Centre will be known as "The Robert Gemmell Martial Arts School". The new branch of the S.C.F. will house the New Zealand Bagua Research Centre, along with the Mulan and Tai Chi Centres.
Specialised Training Equipment
This will be the largest martial art centre in New Zealand, it will have various features. There will be a specialised Power Breaking and Conditioning Zone, with equipment designed to allow students to practise all types of moves, both hand and foot.
Computer Database
Another feature will be the martial arts computer database of books, charts, and martial arts information for research. This will be available to all students who wish to find out more about martial arts and who will be able to key straight in to this resource.
